Sun or Ascendant in Capricorn with Ray 3   .	Sun Capricorn (or Ascendant Capricorn), R3P (or R3S) Plus Constellationally Transmitted R1, R3 and R7 A strong mutual reinforcement of ray and astrological energies emerges due to the transmission of the third ray constellationally through Capricorn. The appropriate category of reinforcement would be, Strong by Constellational Transmission, and for disciples, Very Strong by Constellational Transmission,since the third ray reaches them, constellationally, through Capricorn rather than Cancer. Planetarily, much power is added to this mutual reinforcement through the transmission of the third ray through Saturn, the exoteric and esoteric ruler of Capricorn. If the third ray is both the monadic and soul ray of Saturn, we can see how very strong this influence would be for both disciples and initiates. The operative category of reinforce ment is Strong by Rulership—Class 1 and Class 2. It remains to be proven whether the third ray transmitted through Saturn is as influential in the life of the ordinary person as the first ray. In the Triangle Leo/Pisces/Capricorn, Leo transmits the first ray through Saturn and Shamballa, and Capricorn transmits the third ray through Mercury and Humanity. Since the personality ray of Mercury is probably the third is it also reasonable {viewing this pattern} to consider that the personality ray of Saturn may well be the first. At least there is no pattern to contra-indicate this assessment. Probably, the third ray transmitted through Saturn is most influential in the lives of disciples and initiates. A further reinforcement comes through Saturn, this time as ruler of the first and third decanates of Capricorn {esoterically and exoterically, respectively}. This influence of this reinforcement is probably greatest in relation to the first decanate in esoteric order, as disciples and initiates respond more to the intelligence aspect, the third ray aspect of Saturn.

Seeking to rise by fair means or foul—mostly by unfair means. xi.    Moving fast to seized the high ground; out-maneuvering the opposition. xii.   Heads of the Hydra: sex, money, ambition, pride, separativeness, cruelty.
