Walter Pullen presents Theseus and the Minotaur, exploring the ancient myth as it relates to the Probationary Path. Walter Pullen will lead us in exploring the esoteric symbolism found in the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur. Students will be offered ways to better understand the Labyrinth of Maya and the challenges of navigating the Probationary Path. Information is based on Walter Pullen’s years of study and analysis of symbolism in ancient myths. He skillfully relates the esoteric writings of Alice Bailey to ancient teachings found in Plutarch’s Life of Theseus written in the first century CE and in Apollodorus’ Library of the second century CE. “The story of Theseus and the Minotaur is one of the finest examples of esoteric mythology from the annals of ancient Greece. The entire tale is immersed in layer after layer of symbolism, each requiring a key and each unveiling a unique mystical meaning.” From universaltheosophy.com. This event was held on November 20, 2016.
