Visualization for Rule II for Disciples and Initiates, Sentences II and III

“Withdraw not now your application.  You could not, if you would; but add to it three great demands and forward move.”

  1. Align with the soul.

  2. Visualize and reaffirm the individual antahkarana.

  3. Align with the group soul and realize your identity with it. Emphasize particularly the colors belonging to your soul and personality ray, otherwise indigo blue.

  4. Visualize and reaffirm the group antahkarana glowing with all seven colors of the rainbow. Emphasize the color indigo blue of the great synthetic second ray.

  5. Utilizing the group antahkarana, imagine the group open and accessible to the levels of the spiritual triad, and increasingly infused by the energies of those dimensions.

  6. See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.

  7. Identified as a soul-infused personality within the group soul (and progressively as the group soul), ask yourself, “What is the group application”? Visualize the ways in which this application is being made.

  8. What are the ways in which the group can sustain its application, refusing to withdraw it? Why is it right for the group not to withdraw its application?

  9. What is it that prevents the group from withdrawing its application? Why can the group not withdraw its application? Visualize, in this regard, the relation of the Ashram to the group.

  10. Consulting pp. 63-66 in The Rays and the Initiations, and understanding the relationship between a given level of the spiritual triad and its corresponding level within the personality, envision the group making “three great demands”.

  11. The first demand is based on the relationship between the higher mind and the etheric-physical plane. The second demand is based on the relationship between the buddhic plane and the astral plane, as the third is based upon the relationship between the atmic level and the lower mind.

  12. Pause for a moment and consider what gives the group (and the group members) the right to sound forth the three demands?

  13. Imagine that the group is in such a condition that it has earned this right and may appropriately sound forth the demands.

  14. Envision yourself, identifying with and as the group, sounding out one demand after another (symbolically, on the appropriate notes, and on behalf of the group) and envision the beneficent unfoldments in the three worlds of human evolution resulting from the demands.

    1. Among other things, the first demand will relate to the process of bringing the physical plane to fruition.

    2. Among other things, the second demand will relate to the deglamorization of the astral plane.

    3. Among other things, the third demand will relate to ridding the mental plane of illusion.

  15. When the three demands have been sounded and the unfoldments have occurred, survey that which has happened. Synthetically summarize the results.
  16. Once the work impulsed by the demands is imaginatively accomplished, ponder on what it would mean for the group to “forward move”—from what, into what?

  17. Visualize the qualified group moving forward and attempt to ‘feel’ the result of this forward movement.

  18. Send forth the essence of your realization to uplift the field of human consciousness.
