Rules XII.

 

For Applicants:  Let the disciple learn the use of the hand in service; let him seek the mark of the Messenger in his feet and let him learn to see with the eye which looks out from between the two.

 

For Disciples and Initiates:  Let the group serve as Aquarius indicates; let Mercury speed the group upon the upward Way and let Taurus bring illumination and the attainment of the vision; let the mark of the Saviour, as the group toils in Pisces, be seen above the aura of the group.

 

Visualization for Rule XII for Applicants

 

Let the disciple learn the use of the hand in service; let him seek the mark of the Messenger in his feet and let him learn to see with the eye which looks out from between the two.

 

1.      Align with the soul.

2.      Visualize and reaffirm the individual antahkarana.

3.      Align with the group soul and realize your identity with it.

4.      Visualize and reaffirm the group antahkarana glowing with all seven colors of the rainbow.

5.      Utilizing the group antahkarana, imagine the group open and accessible to the levels of the spiritual triad, and increasingly infused by the energies of those dimensions.

6.      See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.

7.      Within these greater alignments, identify yourself as the disciple—the soul in incarnation and an agent of expression for the Divine Plan.

8.      Ponder on “the hand”. Dwell on its symbology.

9.      What does it mean to you do use “the hand in service”?

10. How do you actually use “the hand” or your hands in service? Is there any way you do this occultly? Envision yourself doing so.

11. Ponder on the “the feet”. Dwell on the symbology of the feet, especially in relation to the Path.

12. Visualize both your hands and feet as sanctified instruments of service.

13. What is a “Messenger”? Are you a “Messenger”? If so how?

14. What is the meaning of the “mark of the Messenger in his feet”? Do you think your feet carry this mark? If so, why? If not, what can you do to see that they will carry this “mark”?

15. Envision yourself as the “Messenger” possessed of the “mark of the Messenger” in your feet. What message or messages are you carrying? What are you carrying it or them? What is the result of your carrying?

16. What is the “eye which looks out from between the two”?

17. Do you have any familiarity with this kind of vision? If so, how?

18. Imagine that you (the consciousness) are seeing through the “eye which looks out from between the two”. What, actually, do you ‘see’? What greater depth of meaning or significance is revealed to you from this vantage point?

19. Ponder on the relationship between “the hand”, “the feet” and the central “eye” as that egoic eye conveys vision to the Monad.

20. Essentialize your learnings from this visualization/meditation.

21. On the sound of three OMs and with hands uplifted, send forth the essence of your realization to uplift the field of human consciousness.

“Let the group serve as Aquarius indicates”

 

1.      Align with the soul.

6.      See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.

7.      Consult a sky-map and study the configuration of the constellation Aquarius. Commit it to memory.

8.      Visualize the constellation Aquarius and ponder on the universalizing energy where emanates therefrom.

9.      Think of all the different things Aquarius means to you.

10. Which “group” is indicated in this Rule? Is it the Hierarchy? Is it the Ashram? Is it something else?

11. Imagine yourself in affiliation with Hierarchy, with your Ray Ashram, and with your Ray sub-Ashram.

12. What does it mean to “serve as Aquarius indicates”?

13. Imagine yourself at-one with your group and imaginatively tune in together on the energy of Aquarius.

14. As you attune in this manner what modes of service does Aquarius indicate to you?

15. What modes of service does it seem to indicate to the group of which you are a part?

16. Visualize yourself individually and as a group serving “as Aquarius indicates”. What sorts of service emerge before you inner eye? What do you sense happening as a result of this visualization?

17. Essentialize your learnings from this visualization/meditation.

“let Mercury speed the group upon the upward Way”

 

  1. Align with the soul.
  2. Visualize and reaffirm the individual antahkarana.
  3. Align with the group soul and realize your identity with it.
  4. Visualize and reaffirm the group antahkarana glowing with all seven colors of the rainbow.
  5. Utilizing the group antahkarana, imagine the group open and accessible to the levels of the spiritual triad, and increasingly infused by the energies of those dimensions.
  6. See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.
  7. Visualize the planet Mercury and ponder on its nature.
  8. Imaginatively become imbued with the energy of Mercury. Include your group in this imagined imbuing.
  9. Think about the relationship of Mercury to “speed”. Is speed necessary? If so, why so?
  10. What is “the upward way” upon which Mercury can “speed the group”?
  11. As you visualize the “upward way”, try to “get a feel” for its sevenfold energy.
  12. Ponder deeply—how is it that Mercury can “speed the group upon the upward way”?
  13. Visualize yourself and your group being sped “upon the upward way” by Mercury? What is the result within the consciousness of you, the individual, and your group? Dwell within the energy of the result.
  14. Imagine yourself and your group continuing speedily upon the upward way, together, and under the impulsion of Mercury. What is your destination?
  15. Essentialize your learnings from this visualization/meditation.

“and let Taurus bring illumination and the attainment of the vision”

 

  1. Align with the soul.
  2. Visualize and reaffirm the individual antahkarana.
  3. Align with the group soul and realize your identity with it.
  4. Visualize and reaffirm the group antahkarana glowing with all seven colors of the rainbow.
  5. Utilizing the group antahkarana, imagine the group open and accessible to the levels of the spiritual triad, and increasingly infused by the energies of those dimensions.
  6. See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.
  7. Consult a star map and assure yourself of the outline of the constellation Taurus.
  8. Visualize the constellation Taurus and ponder deeply on its nature and energy.
  9. What is the nature of “illumination”? How is Taurus related to illumination?
  10. What is the nature of the “vision” which lies before you individually and before the group of which you are a part?
  11. Deeply receptive to the energy of the constellation Taurus, imagine illumination pouring into your group and into each group member individually, including yourself as an individual.
  12. What do you sense as a result of this imagining?
  13. Deeply receptive to the energy of the constellation Taurus, imagine the vision which presents itself to the group and to you as an individual.
  14. Imagine the group and all group members individually moving steadily towards that vision.
  15. What would it mean for the group to attain that vision? What would it mean for you to attain your vision?
  16. Imagine the illumined group (filled with illumined individuals) in a state of having attained the vision. What is, do you imagine, would be the result in the group life? What would be the result in the lives of the individual members of the group, including yourself?
  17. Dwell in the group alignment with the energy of the constellation Taurus. Stand as a group within the Great Light of Taurus and with the sense of knowing the vision presented and having attained the vision presented.
  18. Essentialize your learnings from this visualization/meditation.

  1. Align with the soul.

  6. See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.
  7. Who is the Saviour? Visualize the different kinds of Saviours associated with our planetary life and attempt to feel the quality of and scope of Their energy.
  8. What, to you, is the meaning of the “mark of the Saviour”? Can you envision what this “mark” might look like?
  9. Consult a sky map to understand the shape and configuration of the constellation Pisces and then reproduce it in your visualization.
  10. Ponder on the nature of Pisces and its relation to saviorship and salvation.
  11. What does it mean for to “toil in Pisces”?
  12. Visualize the group toiling in Pisces. What kind of toil do you think your group needs to undertake in Pisces?
  13. Visualize this particular type of toil proceeding and all your fellow group members toiling as one.
  14. As the toil proceeds, and identified with the task of toiling, imagine that you ‘see’ the “mark of the Saviour” emerging above the aura of the group. If you do not ‘see’ anything then imagine the presence of the energy which represents the “mark of the Savior”.
  15. Having imagined that the “mark of the Saviour” has emerged, what does this, if anything, mean to the toiling group? Is there any impact on the group process? Would there be any change?
  16. Resolve to toil with your group in Pisces, subject to the energy of the Saviour.
  17. Essentialize your learnings from this visualization/meditation.
