Sun or Ascendant in Pisces with Ray 1

.

Sun Gemini (or Ascendant Gemini), R1P (or R1S)
Plus Constellationally Transmitted R2

For most people, a normally weak to mild mutual reinforcement of ray and astrological energies emerges only through the transmission of the first ray through the Earth {albeit, monadically, hence, not really actively, until the next solar system}.

For the first ray initiate, the applicable category could be considered Strong by Rulership—Class 3, but the monadic first ray influence of the Earth is weakened because Earth is a non-sacred planet, the monadic ray of which is, for all practical purposes, presently ineffective.

There may be a slight reinforcement of this first ray through the first ray component of Saturn {ruler of the third decanate, in exoteric decanate order}, and through the first ray component of Mars, according to Sepharial, ruler of the second decanate {in esoteric decanate order}. The decanates for Gemini, as given by the Tibetan, are complex and, in a way, unexpected. Six planets are offered as rulers and with none upon the ordinary wheel repeated upon the reversed wheel.

It is to be noted that the esoteric decanates as given by Sepharial and confirmed by the Tibetan, are the same as the esoteric decanates given for Sagittarius—the sign opposing Gemini.

Selfish, Self-Centered or Self-Serving Human Being

Selfish, Self-centered or Self-Serving Human Being

i.     The withdrawn, inhibited attitude the self-absorbed Pisces person combines with a remote, ‘unreachable’, and isolative attitude  induced within the insufficiently spiritualized personality by the first ray. (These undesirable qualities would be in the nature of a relapse or reversion to a formerly bound condition, as it is not possible to have a first or second ray personality unless one is at least an aspirant. The first or second ray may, however, enter the personality by other lines of influence.)

ii.    The covert use of the will.

iii.    Secret power, and the use of power (first ray) in secret (Pisces). Secret police.

iv.    Hidden forces of negativity and destruction.

v.    Undetected perpetration of damage. Sneak attacks. “Silent killers”. Silencers. Poisoners. Stealth bombers. Commando raids. ‘Invisible destroyers’—the counterpart to the “invisible helpers”.

vi.    The powers behind the scenes—for good or for ill (and at this stage, often for ill).

vii.   Imprisonment; forcible restraint.

viii.   Hidden places where power is applied unlawfully or inhumanly. Torture chambers; concentration camps.

ix.    “Possessors” and “obsessors”; the predation of astral enemies.

x.    Execution and executioners.

Advanced Human Being; Aspirant; Disciple: Additionally, where relevant, combine Ascendant Sign with the ray of either the ray of the personality or soul.

Advanced Human Being; Aspirant; Disciple

i.      The psychological courage, the willingness to face and endure the karmic residues of the past—qualities increasingly characteristic the advancing Pisces individual combine with the willingness to accept necessary losses with detachment—an attitude induced within the spiritually unfolding personality by the first ray.

ii.    Learning to recognize the ending of cycles

iii.    Learning how to conclude one’s affairs and release oneself from the past.

iv.    Facing abuses—largely of one’s own making.

v.    Courageously facing the elusive, hidden and unknown.

vi.    Learning to deal with “secret enemies”.

vii.   On the Path of Discipleship: learning detachment, especially from subtle emotional or psychic conditions.

viii.   On the Path of Discipleship: learning to face karma courageously

ix.   On the Path of Discipleship: detecting latent karmic conditions (whether in self or society) and eliminating them. Freeing oneself and others from karmic conditions.

x.    On the Path of Discipleship: learning to heal through expulsion. Psychologically, the practice of exorcism.

xi.    On the Path of Discipleship: Forcing oneself to let go. Learning the therapeutic, releasing value of death—physical, emotional, mental.

Advanced Disciple; the Initiate: Additionally, where relevant, combine Ascendant Sign with the ray as either the ray of the personality or soul.

Advanced Disciple; the Initiate
Additionally, where relevant, combine Ascendant Sign, Pisces, with the first ray as either the ray of the personality or soul

i.      The willingness to serve and save others, even at the expense of one’s own life—a willingness progressively possessed by the soul-infused disciple/initiate born in or under the sign Pisces, combines with the readiness courageously to face great karmic adversity and overcome it through strength of willqualities induced within the soul or spiritualized personality by the first ray.

ii.    Bravely facing death and darkness in the task of serving and saving others.

iii.    Experiencing death in order to become immortal (first aspect).

iv.    Courage to face long-standing abuses on the group, national and human level. Willingly becoming an agent of sacrifice on behalf of the group.

v.    Exorcism within larger contexts; casting out the hidden enemies, the “devils” of the group, the nation or humanity.

vi.    Confronting the hidden powers of darkness.

vii.    Braving total dissolution (pralaya) in order to return to a state of pure being (first ray).

viii.   Relating more to Shamballa than to Hierarchy.

ix.    Being an agent of the Divine Will in a time of chaos and destruction. Being a source of strength (first ray) in a time of cataclysm (Pisces).

x.    Looking out upon a “world destroyed”, yet holding the realization—“I still persist”.

Pisces

In Comparison With

R1

1.    Transmits principally R2 and R6constellationally

1.    R1

2.    Transmits principally R2, R6 and R1 (plus R1, R6, R7) through its rulers (including the special rulership by Neptune)

2.    R1

3.    Colors: lavender (given by D.K.) and possibly (on a hypothetical color-scale incrementally related to the chromatic musical scale) indigo violet, violet or violet-red. (A color-chromatic scale has fourteen steps and a musical chromatic scale only twelve—hence the discrepancies and alternatives. The shading of decanates may offer a partial solution.)

3.    Colors: red, “roaring orange”, black

4.    Note: Possibly B

Discover Potentials to be Derived from
Energetic Similarities Between Pisces and R1

Utilize these similarities to further understand how these two energies may combine with or reinforce each other (for better of for worse) when they are found within the same energy system.

A.     Related Through Pluto: Pisces is intimately connected with the first ray because its esoteric and hierarchical ruler is Pluto, that powerful first ray planet.

B.     Associated with Death: Both Pisces and the first ray are associated with death. The first ray is the “Lord of Death” (EP I 64) Pisces (with Aries and Scorpio—all related to Pluto) is one of three signs of death. Pisces rules “death by drowning”.

C.     The Divine Will: Both energies are associated with the Divine Will. The first ray is, generically, the ray of will. In Pisces the initiate comes to an important willingness which expresses thus: “Father, not my will but Thine be done”.

D.     Linked by Association with the Monad: Both energies are associated with the monad. The monad is the first ray aspect of man. The monad, however, is also a savior, and a “Lord of persevering and ceaseless devotion…”, which links it to the motivation of Pisces. Numbering clockwise from Aries (at the logoic plane), Pisces, sequentially, rules the monadic plane.

E.    Destruction: Both Pisces and the first ray are related to destruction. Pisces destroys through dissolution—the pralaya at the end of every cycle. The first ray is associated, generally, with all manner of destruction, depending upon which planet or sign is the instruments of destruction.

F.     Linked to the End of Cycles: Thus both energies rule the end of cycles.

G.     Relation to Shamballa: Pisces and the first ray are related through their association with Shamballa. Shamballa is the first ray center. Pisces releases a world savior into Shamballa. A world server (created by Aquarius) is released into the Hierarchy.

H.     Energies of Synthesis: Ultimately, both energies produce the state of synthesis. Pisces dissolves all barriers to synthesis and the first ray, in general, destroys all lesser ring-pass-nots which interfere with the flow of synthesis.

I.    Related to Processes Important at the First, Second and Fourth Initiations:

At the first initiation, destructive first ray forces are released through Pluto, destroying much ancient impediment. The former life is dissolved in the waters of Pisces (pralaya). As well, a new kind of relationship is established with the energies of love and of the heart—mediated through Pisces.

At the second initiation, the emotional body “dies”; there is a “drowning” of ancient desire, and the life may “dissolve in tears”, clearing the way for a new expression of the emotional body. Many ancient emotional obstructions have been destroyed or ejected by the first ray, again, under Pluto. As well, the divine will begins to mean something specific, and the first steps are taken to replace desire with will. The first ray contributes to this process of replacement.

At the fourth initiation, the personal reincarnational history stored in and as the causal body is destroyed. Again, the past is “wiped out” and to this eradication, the dissolving, pralayic energies of Pisces and the generally terminating energies of the first ray both contribute. Pisces, as well, resonates with the buddhi plane and the flooding of the life with great Love-Wisdom after the Crucifixion has been experienced.
