1. The chart which we have been using for FCD places the third degree of Cancer on the Ascendant and the fifth degree of Pisces on the MC. This chart has been chosen rather than the 12:03 pm chart (estimated as being a bit too late) and the 11:59:24 am chart calculated by Astrodatabank using a slightly different TLT (True Local Time) and yielding an Ascendant and a Midheaven advanced by about ten seconds of arc. Probably, there is no definitive exactitude in these calculations; one comes as close as one can, given the significant events of which one is aware.

The past few months have been extremely difficult for you, have they not.[ Transiting Saturn and the progressed Moon activating the Venus/Mars/Saturn T-Square; transiting Saturn conjunct the progressed Sun and the progressed MC ]

The future also holds for you much anxiety …[ transiting Saturn and Uranus entering the 12^th house of isolation/sacrifice/fear/karma and approaching the Neptune/Pluto conjunction ]

The glamour[ Neptune ] of an extreme sensitivity [ Cancer/Pisces ] is your major handicap, my brother, and definitely limits your usefulness. The solar plexus [ Neptune ] is wide [Jupiter ] open to all impressions.[ Neptune semi-sextile Chiron in the 12^th house and is in wide opposition to Jupiter ] But you, as a soul, are quite indifferent and – as a soul – you suffer not at all.

Transiting Neptune trine the natal Neptune and square the natal Chiron and the Transiting Jupiter conjunct the natal Neptune and is in opposition the natal Jupiter during 1941-2.

Your extreme psychic sensitivity and impressionability ( of a very high order, I must admit, but nevertheless of a personality nature ) [ Neptune/Jupiter, the exoteric rulers of the Pisces Sun, are in wide opposition ] must be overcome by a paralleling extreme spiritual sensitivity.[ Pluto, the esoteric ruler of Pisces, conjunct Neptune and opposition Jupiter ]

It appears that his 2^nd Ray Soul is working mainly through Pisces and his 4^th Ray Personality through Sagittarius and thus making the Neptune conjunct Pluto and both in opposition Jupiter across the 6/12 houses ( axis of redemption/salvage ), one of the main focal points of the chart.

We know that the problem of his present life was the transference of energy from the Solar Plexus ( Neptune ) to the Heart ( Jupiter ) and this leads us to the triangle of Pisces-Uranus-Hierarchy and the transmission of force from Heart to Solar Plexus.

Uranus is quincunx Mercury, thus linking him to Humanity ( Capricorn-Mercury-Humanity ), sesqui-quadrate Pluto, linking him to Hierarchy and Uranus mutual hierarchical reception with Saturn is linking him with Shamballa ( Leo-Saturn-Shamballa ).

…this spiritual tendency is accompanied in you by a corresponding powerful, physical and mental inertia. The potency of your astral activity depletes the other two points of the personality triangle.[ the triangle of initiation ( EA/204 ) indicates the 3 aspects of the personality: Scorpio ( physical ), Taurus ( emotional ), Pisces ( mental ).

When we look at the progressions/transits we see strong concentration of activity in Taurus. The progressed Sun entered Taurus in May 1940 and transiting Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus are all in Taurus, approaching the conjunction to the natal Neptune ( the exoteric ruler of the Sun and esoteric ruler of the AS ) in Taurus.

You are, my brother, upon the path of the Christ, and in preparation for treading this path of aiding and salvaging humanity, you have to learn ( through intense feeling ) the futility of emotion and feeling as a means of salvaging your brothers.[ it appears that he has been born with the powerful water signs Cancer/Scorpio/Pisces, for this very purpose. This water triangle is part of the five signs (EA318) Cancer-Virgo-Scorpio-Capricorn esoteric linking. …” for an initiate and for a period of three incarnations, ( EA/319 ) the four signs of revelation ( Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio and Capricorn ) intensify their effect upon him, until in the fourth incarnation he begins to respond to the inner influence of Pisces. He thus demonstrates his ability to react to the Shamballa influence and, when this influence is established, he goes out to salvage and to save.” [ this seems to indicate the taking of the 3^rd initiation in this life and preparation for the 4^th initiation ]

You need to acquire that divine indifference which leaves the soul free to serve – untrammelled by personality reactions, for that is what all solar plexus conditions basically are. [ the Mars in Scorpio, in the 5^th house is a contributing factor to an emotionally powerful and intense Astral body even though it is conditioned by the 2^nd Ray ( Mercury, the Hierarchical dispositor of Mars, is in Pisces which transmits the 2^nd Ray and the progressing Mercury in Aries is thus indicative of the need to stand in spiritual being upon the Mental plane as the Observer )

In May 1940 the progressed Sun was in opposition the natal Mars, in April 1940 there was a Lunar Eclipse on the natal Mars and in October 1940 the Solar Arc Moon conjunct Mars, thus powerfully stimulating the Astral body.

From December 1941 to April 1942 the progressing Saturn was in exact square to the natal Mars, bringing control/discipline of the Astral body.

Your problem this life has been the same as that of A.A.B. – the transfer of energy from the solar plexus to the heart. [ if we look at the two charts ( that of FCD and AAB ) we see some similarities in linking of certain energies; in AAB chart Mars ( ruler of the 5^th house ) is in Leo ( sign, associated with the Heart ), square Neptune ( Solar Plexus ) and is the exoteric dispositor of Saturn which has its detriment in Leo ( lessening of the Heart expression ); Jupiter ( the Heart centre ) is semi-sextile to Neptune/Chiron conjunction ( indicating wound/impediment to the Solar Plexus/Heart free flow of energies ). This, by the way, is also one of the indicators that she could have entered life as 2^nd Degree initiate using/expressing the 6^th Ray/Neptune ( in relation to Leo ) in her earlier life.

In the chart of FCD, Mars is in the 5^th house square Saturn in Leo and Jupiter is in wide opposition to Neptune and semi-sextile to Chiron and sextile to Saturn.

In both cases the 6^th house/Virgo ( correction/integration/healing ) is involved in these dynamics. In the case of AAB Saturn rules the 6^th house and in FCD chart it is Mars and with Jupiter placed there; Mars is also the Hierarchical dispositor of Jupiter.

AAB has Uranus in Virgo, in mutual Hierarchical reception with Jupiter. This involvement of Uranus ( in relation to Leo ) could be one of the indicators of her taking of the 3^rd initiation in that life.

FCD has Moon in Virgo and Jupiter is the Hierarchical dispositor, placed in the 6^th house and also making square to the Moon ( blockage to Soul progress ). From this we see how he lacked discrimination ( Virgo ) in the right choice of people for the New Age work and his close identification with the problems of individuals ( Solar Plexus ), instead of identification with their Soul and thus working from the Heart centre.

Looking at the progressions/transits we see that the planets representing the Solar Plexus ( Neptune ) and Heart ( Jupiter ) were activated at the time of this instruction.

The Solar Arc Jupiter trine the natal Neptune in August 1940; the Solar Arc Neptune sesqui-quadrate the natal Jupiter in October 1941 and the Transiting Jupiter conjunct the natal Neptune in May 1941.

…the entire focus of your life is upon the highest level of the astral plane.[ the highest sub-plane of the Astral plane is that of “ emotional idealism “( strong emphasis on Cancer/Pisces –6^th Ray/Neptune/12^th house )

This in your case ( not in that of A.A.B. ) has led to the withdrawal of energy from the physical body ( the etheric body ),[ Chiron in Gemini semi-sextile Neptune, both in the 12^th house; Moon in Virgo opposition Sun in Pisces ] leading to physical debility and fatigue and also to a pronounced inability to “ ground “ yourself upon the physical plane.[ Moon in the 4^th house conjunct the IC ]

It has also brought about a considerable depletion or enervation of the Will aspect as it produces physical plane expression of directed soul activity as the intelligence ( focussed in the mind ) must condition it. [ reflection of this statement astrologically is indicated by the singleton Uranus in Libra quincunx Mercury and sesqui-quadrate Pluto and Pluto conjunct Neptune ]

Uranus in Libra also points to the need of balancing the Etheric body through the 7^th Ray energy.

But it must be apparent to you that if the focus of all your energies inherent in the personality life and also those in pouring from the soul is the astral body,[ Neptune, the exoteric dispositor of the Sun ( personality ) and esoteric ruler of the AS ( Soul ), is in Taurus ( Astral body ); Mars ( Astral body ) is the Hierarchical dispositor of Jupiter, the Soul Ray planet and the occult ruler of the first decanate of Pisces ( the Sun placement ).

Mars is the Hierarchical ruler of the Astral plane and the highest sub-plane of the Astral plane is ruled by Capricorn. Mars is square Venus and Saturn, the rulers of Capricorn, thus making this Mars/Venus/Saturn T-Square the focus of Astral energy/plane/body.

Saturn is also the occult ruler of the 3^rd decanate of Taurus, the placement of Neptune ( the esoteric ruler of the AS ).

Saturn is in its detriment in Leo ( semi-starvation of the etheric body ) and is the Hierarchical dispositor of Uranus ( etheric body ) then there must certainly be a condition of attrition or of semi-starvation of the etheric body ( determining the physical condition )

and also of the mental body. [ Saturn opposition Venus ] This militates against the full manifestation of a very fine mental equipment.[ Venus/Jupiter/Pluto and Venus/Mercury/Uranus triangle; this makes Venus focus both, of the mental and astral body/energy; Venus is also the occult ruler of the first decanate of Cancer ( the AS ) and thus indicates that an important part of the Soul purpose was to fully express the mental body and stand in spiritual being/divine indifference as the Onlooker/Observer/Soul ( indicated by the progressing Venus/Mercury in Aries ) and thus transfer the astral energy into the mental body.

The Solar Arc Venus square the natal Chiron in December 1940 and the transiting Chiron opposition the natal Venus. The transiting Saturn and Uranus entry in Gemini, where Venus is the esoteric ruler and the transiting Pluto opposition the natal Venus. All this point to the opportunity to express more fully the mental body.

Before you can take the initiation for which you are being prepared, there must be a change of life focus and a transfer of energy from the astral body into the mental body, and consequently from the solar plexus to the heart. [ the strong implication of Venus/Saturn and the transfer of astral body into the mental body points to the 3^rd initiation ]

This was a difficult period for him, his life was threatened and it is said he was put in prison for his own protection. Looking at some of the progressions/transits we see strong activity of the 12^th house ( prison ) by the transiting Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus. The progressing Sun and Saturn square the natal Mars; the Solar Arc Moon conjunct Mars and square Saturn; the progressed Mars sesqui – quadrate the natal Pluto; transiting Saturn conjunct the natal Neptune/Pluto.

You have given all you had to give. Now take it back enriched. Then give again. [ this echo the Law of Sacrifice ( Pisces ); and giving of the treasures of the Causal body ( Jupiter sextile Venus ); Mars in the 5^th house ( the Causal body ) square Saturn in the 2^nd house ( treasures of the Causal body ) and both in aspect to Venus in Aquarius ( giving to all ), in the 8^th house ( group resources ). The Solar Arc Jupiter ( esoteric ruler of Aquarius ) square the natal Mars in April 1943 ( giving more ).

Peace [ Libra ] is to you the clearest light of all. The lessons of the dark have likewise been revealed. Pass out between the two. [ in October 1942 the transiting Neptune ( esoteric ruler of the AS ) has entered Libra and the transiting Uranus trine the natal Venus ( rulers of Libra ).

The best is yet to be. Hold thou to Me. [ implication of impending initiation, most probably the 4^th initiation and the guidance of the Master and entering deeper into the Ashram and the Master’s aura ( the progressed Moon entered the 4^th house – the Ashram; the transiting Chiron ( Master/Guide ) square the natal Neptune and trine the progressed MC ) ]

The bridge of light is firmly built and on it you can move this way or that, but always on the Way. [ the Antahkarana has been build and he can easily access the Spiritual Triad and the vision of the Way of Higher evolution is given; The progressed Mercury ( the Antahkarana ) opposition the progressed Uranus ( the Triad ) in May 1943 ]

The sorrow of the Cross of Man have weighted thee down but not submerged or blotted out the light. The joy of resurrection lies ahead.[ the Path of the World Saviour and the promise of the 4^th initiation;]

There are five constellation ( Taurus/Libra/Sagittarius/Aquarius/Pisces ) which are peculiarly active in the life ( EA/476 ) of the advanced disciple and initiate, in relation to the Cross of Life and the seven crisis corresponding to the seven stations of the Cross which mark the way of an advancing world Saviour.

All these five signs are represented in the chart of FCD but it is the triangle of Taurus-Aquarius-Pisces which is the most relevant and is the probable signature of the 4^th degree as is, of course, the Grand Cross.

The Grand Cross was activated by the progressed Moon and transiting Saturn at the end of 1942 and beginning of 1943.

Love is thy note and wisdom is thy guide. You need naught else but fire.[ he has both of the qualities of the 2^nd Ray ( Love/Wisdom ) and thus the Solar fire and all he needs is the fire of the Spirit or Electric fire ( Uranus as a singleton in Libra ).

He also needs the destructive aspect of the Will ( Pluto ) as at the 4^th initiation he needs to respond to the 3^rd aspect of the 4^th Ray ( which is conditioning the 4^th initiation ), the aspect of destruction, to cut/break free from form and to destroy the Causal body.

The 4^th Ray Personality is providing that possibility through Mercury ( the Personality Ray planet ) mutual exo/eso reception with Pluto. Mercury/Pluto are both in aspect to Uranus, thus linking the Soul-infused Personality with the Triad.

The progressed Mercury in Aries was in opposition the progressed Uranus ( the Hierarchical ruler of Aries ), in May 1943.

We know that FCD lacked discrimination [ Moon in Virgo ( past blockage ) – Mercury is the exoteric dispositor of the Moon ( both 4^th Ray planets ) ] The sense of discriminative choice is developed through the principle of Conflict ( an aspect of the 4^th Ray ), which is based on the intellectual factor of discrimination. The principle of Conflict is based on the energy of the 3^rd Ray which he completely lacked. The 4^th Ray conditions the 4^th initiation and as a result leading to right discrimination.

SEPTEMBER 1943/DINA II/ 463,464,465,466

I am not telling your co-disciples whether you are on this side of the separating veil or not. [ that he was in great danger is evident from the transiting Saturn and Uranus ( rulers of the 8^th house/Arm ) in the 12^th house of seclusion/restriction/weakness and both activating the Grand Cross from the middle of 1942 with Uranus making the last square to the natal Sun in May 1944.

The April 1943 must have been particularly critical when the transiting Uranus made the last conjunction to the natal Pluto and the transiting Saturn its last square to the natal Sun.

The Solar Arc Jupiter ( his Soul Ray planet ) started the activation of the natal Mars/Saturn square by square to the Mars in April 1943 and then opposition to Saturn in October 1943. Jupiter carries Sun/Moon – Pluto midpoint ( a very fortunate/successful combination ) and Mars/Saturn carries Jupiter-Chiron midpoint ( healing combination ). These two sets of planetary dynamics brought protection against the dangerous situation FCD was facing ( at its worst they would have made an easy transition possible ).

Your karma…your race ( to which you do not belong except through physical heredity ) [ this is an edited text ] holds you back from that complete freedom and liberation which you deeply desire.

We know that FCD belonged to the Jewish race [ 3^rd Ray Personality/Capricorn Sun and 1^st Ray Soul/Virgo AS ]. He lacked the 3^rd Ray thus his only connection with the Jewish race was his 1^st Ray mind, linking him to the Jewish Soul.

We are told by DK that FCD was to act as the teacher of the new dispensation for the Jews. This is from some of the unpublished material: “ This teaching must be brought to them by one who loves them greatly, who is of their race and, at the same time, not of their race, who has suffered so deeply that naught can again touch him to any drastic extent and one also who has the power of the Hierarchy back of him.” [ this was communicated to FCD by his Master KH ]

The following passage was given by DK to FCD; “ All these requirements are met by you and you can – from the standpoint of your present life position and during your next immediate incarnation – act as the Teacher of the new dispensation for the Jews; you can, at least , give them that instruction which, during the next one hundred years, will change their point of view and attitude to life. Thereby you will salvage thousands;…”

Astrologically, the Moon is in a strong esoteric position in Virgo [ again linking him to the Jewish Soul ], in the 4^th house [ physical heredity ].

The Moon is the exoteric ruler of the AS [ Soul purpose ], the esoteric ruler of the 4^th house and the Hierarchical ruler of the 9^th house [ path/journey through the races ].

The Moon is conjunct the IC [ roots/foundation/anchorage ] and the Earth [ Dharma/obligation ]. FCD not only put a foundation to a new esoteric truth ( psychosynthesis ) but needed to anchor or stabilise the vitality/circulation of the Etheric body.

The Earth is the esoteric and hierarchical ruler of the 6/12 houses [ axis of service/healing/salvage/redemption ]. He was on the Path of the World Saviour and one of his first major assignment on this Path was to help the Jewish people and thus contribute in salvaging thousands.

The Earth rules the Spleen ( related to vitality ) and is the esoteric dispositor of Chiron in Gemini ( wound to the Etheric body ).

Moon rules the circulation of the Etheric body and its placement in Virgo points to the health/correction in relation to the Etheric body.

Moon is square Jupiter ( the esoteric ruler of the 9^th house and exoteric ruler of the 6^th house ), in the 6^th house of health/service, indicating over-indulgence and un-regulated past habits.

We see deeper underlying causes behind the health which are linked to the racial issues and the need for greater expression of wisdom ( Jupiter ).

Both, Moon and Earth are part of the Grand Cross – the signature of a World Saviour.

If we compare FCD chart with that of RSU who was also born into Jewish race only in this incarnation but strongly identified with it through her 3^rd Ray personality ( Capricorn Sun ), we find a very interesting dynamics.

Like FCD, RSU has Cancer AS but her exalted Moon in Taurus is isolated/unaspected and the only planet in the first decanate ( form/matter aspect ), putting the emphasis on values/appetites/finance but also on light/illumination/motive.

Uranus, the exoteric ruler of the 9^th house ( path through the races ), is in the 4^th house of heredity and is placed in Virgo ( correction ), the sign on AS of the Jewish race.

Uranus is square Jupiter, the esoteric ruler of the 9^th house, exoteric ruler of the 6^th house and the hierarchical ruler of the 4^th house, indicating the relation between her eating disorder and racial issues.

Chiron in Taurus ( wounded appetites ) is semi-sextile Jupiter and trine Uranus ( the closest triangle in the chart ), again indicating a link between the health and racial issues.

What is interesting is that in FCD chart it is the Moon in its esoteric and hierarchical rulership of the 4^th/9^th houses, placed in the 4^th house, which is powerfully aspected and most probably in opposition Vulcan ( 1^st Ray Soul planet of the Jewish race ) in Pisces ( salvage/sacrifice ).

In RSU chart it is Uranus in its exoteric rulership of the 9^th house, placed in the 4^th house, which is powerfully aspected in earth Grand Trine with the Capricorn Sun ( the same sun sign as the Jewish race ) and Saturn ( her 3^rd Ray Personality planet and that of the Jewish race ).

Both these planets [ Moon for FCD and Uranus for RSU ] are placed in the 4^th house ( heredity ), in Virgo ( correction/integration ), the sign ruling the AS of the Jewish race but FCD is able to link to the higher aspect of the energy while RSU is more identifying with the 3^rd aspect ( form/personality ).

This would make the following statement by DK ( from unpublished material ) to FCD more clear: “ As you know, the task consists in the effort to help the Jewish people to see their plight in a different light. They must register the situation in the light of truth. This work can only be undertaken by people who, like yourself, have taken a Jewish body but have no Jewish consciousness, who repudiate without any difficulty the dreadful and revengeful Jehovah of the Jewish religion and who never act or think as does the average Jew. You meet all these requirements, though R.K. ( RSU ) does not.”

Your Master, K.H., asked you at that time [ a year ago ] if you were ready to begin work in preparation for a definite assignment upon the Path of World Saviours. [ when we check the progressions/transits around September 1942 we see a strong activity of Chiron and the Nodes ]

Chiron represents an unresolved/disruptive pattern ( wound ) carried over from many incarnations, normally pointing to a particular quality which need to be added to the Causal body ( building of the Temple ) through healing the wound and thus resolving/integrating the pattern. Chiron also represents the Master/Guide/Healer. It is the energy which opens the door into a state of consciousness or experience not normally easily accessible – in this case into the presence of the Chohan.

The Nodes are strongly active at an important stage of development or turning point upon the Path. They symbolically represent the Wheel of Life – the Past, Present and Future and thus are related to Karma/Dharma and must be interpreted together with the Moon/Saturn/Earth/Chiron.

In August 1942 there was a Solar Eclipse on the Solar Arc Chiron, focussing/drawing the healing energy into he “middle point” or Solar Eye and opening the door into a new dimension of vision if one is able to stand in that point and consciously work with that available energy.

In September 1942 the Solar Arc Chiron square the natal Vertex ( point of fate ) and transiting Chiron over this square and the S. Arc AS.

The Solar Arc AS sextile the natal Chiron ( exact in November 1942 according to the rectified time ).

In August 1943 the transiting Chiron entered Virgo and in September 1943 it entered the 4^th house ( a fuller participation in the healing/salvaging of the racial past – through service to the Jewish people ).

The progressed Nodes are in aspect ( within 1min. of arc ) to the natal Jupiter ( the Soul Ray planet and the Hierarchical ruler of the 4^th house – Ashram ) and the transiting Jupiter conjunct the natal AS.

The Solar Arc Saturn is in aspect to the natal Nodes ( the Karmic turning point upon the Path/Wheel of Life ).

The transiting Pluto ( eso/hierarchical ruler of the MC ) over the progressed Nodes and the transiting Nodes over the MC/IC ( clearing/purging process ).

The transiting Uranus conjunct the natal and progressed Pluto, opposition the progressed Jupiter and square the MC/IC.

The progressed Moon conjunct the IC and enters the 4^th house in October 1942 and returns to its own place in January 1943 ( indication of a new cycle in relation to racial issues, coinciding with the initiating task upon the Path of World Saviour – to salvage the Jewish people ).

The entry of the transiting Neptune ( the esoteric ruler of the AS ) into Libra ( Shamballa/S.Triad ) in October 1942 and its aspect of the natal Mars/Saturn square point to a hard work ahead, with closer participation in the Purpose.

…He reassured you and told you that the potent inner unfoldment of your love nature and your complete decentralisation were a vital protection. [ the achievement of complete decentralisation is indication of the 3^rd Degree ]

He also informed you that – at the stage of spiritual development which you had attained – the aura of His Ashram and the aura of mine would act as a shield, and that the resources of both Ashrams were behind you.[ only 3^rd Degree initiate would command such a protection and backing of both Ashrams. This poses a question as to when he passed through the 3^rd initiation ]

The energies of Scorpio-Capricorn-Pisces constitute a triangle ( EA/487 ) of initiation ( most probably the 3^rd initiation ). In FCD chart the Scorpio/Pisces are strongly tenanted, by Sun/Mercury in Pisces and Mars in Scorpio. Even though there is no planet in Capricorn, Saturn in Leo ( Sun being the dispositor ) is opposition Venus ( rulers of Capricorn ) and both square Mars in Scorpio. Venus trine Pluto ( the esoteric ruler of Pisces ) and both are in aspect to Mars ( even though the Mars/Pluto quincunx is wide, there is the link through Pluto rulership of Scorpio and we know that this aspect was operating in his life which was full of life threatening experiences ). Thus we have the Scorpio/Capricorn/Pisces triangle fully represented.

I have said enough here to enable you again to resume your active position as a pledged initiate-disciple ( a position which your co-disciples have ever recognised as yours ), and I have shown you definitely how valuable has been to you the past immediate experience…[ the wording of this sentence seems to indicate that recent experience confirmed his status as the 3rd Degree initiate and now he can again resume his active position as a pledged initiate-disciple ( the technical term for one who passed the 2^nd or 3^rd initiation ) ]

In my last communication to you I stated that “ love is thy note and wisdom is thy guide. You need naught else but fire. “ That fire, my brother, is the residue of the pure fire [ the fire of Spirit/Uranus ] which is left when you have trodden upon and passed the burning ground, through the Portal into the Presence. That you have done. The fire is there, and on it you can count if you seek to destroy opposition, to burn down barriers ( inherent in yourself or presented by others ), and also to blaze a trail straight from your heart into the heart of others…[ here we have a definite confirmation that he has passed the 3^rd initiation and implication is that it could have been between the last communication ( August 1942 ) and the present one. Could the interview with KH, around September 1942 signified the passing of the 3^rd initiation? ]

I simply take, at this time, those needed inner steps which are permitted to the Master of any Ashram in order to draw you into a very close relation to myself and to the group. Such a definite and close relation produces healing [ Chiron ] and strengthening;[ Saturn ] it also permits of such a clear vision [ Ajna ] that the picture unfolds as a unity and the past [ Moon ] is seen freed [ Uranus ] from karma.[ Saturn ]

The Solar Arc Venus [ Ajna ] in aspect to the natal Mars/Saturn square and the Solar Arc Moon square the natal Venus points to clear vision and strengthening of a relationship.

The Solar Arc Mars/Saturn square in aspect to the natal Chiron is indicative of healing of Karma as is the transit of Chiron of the 4^th house.

The retrograde progressed Mars reached the conjunction to the natal Uranus ( the singleton in Libra ) in December 1945. The progressed Moon and transiting Jupiter and Chiron making conjunction to this Mars/Uranus and the Solar Arc Pluto square the natal Mars and the progressed AS sextile the progressed Uranus. This combination of energies indicates the freeing [ Uranus ] of the past karma [ Moon ] through healing [ Chiron ] and purging [ Pluto ] process.

I think we have a hint here of a vision of an entry on the Cardinal Cross where Saturn looses its power and man is freed of Karma.

The transiting Saturn in Cancer, in its detriment gives a hint of the process of lessening of Karma through suffering and pain.

You have come through a period of great difficulty and danger with no loss of your spiritual grip upon essential reality or of your spiritual vision; your strength has been such that you have lifted your family with you and safeguarded them also all the time.[ the period of danger is indicated by the Solar Arc Pluto conjunct the natal and progressed Saturn in December 1945 and April 1946 and square the natal Mars in October 1945 and the progressed Moon conjunct the natal Mars and square the natal Saturn in July 1946. The progressed Mars conjunct the natal Uranus in December 1945 was also contributing factor.

The saving force came from the transiting Jupiter and Chiron through the 4^th house in aspect to the progressed Sun and natal and progressed Jupiter and the progressed Venus trine the progressed AS.

We see that these energies were utilised both, spiritually and materially. He did not loose time spiritually and that indicates an advanced disciple or should we say an initiate.

Having achieved one pinnacle of spiritual success,[ 3^rd initiation ] another can be glimpsed,[ 4^th initiation ] and between the two pinnacles lies a field of service, a sphere of danger, a land of glamour and deep morasses through which you must struggle, until the point of attainment planned by your soul for this life is yours.[ this point of attainment could have been the task in relation to the Jewish race or the 4^th initiation; if that was the case he could have taken the 3^rd and 4^th initiation in one life.]

A debate arose between your Master ( K.H. ) and myself…I claimed that you were strong enough for the dual test;[ the progressed Moon entered Scorpio in August 1946 ] K.H. felt that you probably were, but that there was no need to ask a disciple always to drink the cup of sacrifice to its very last drop – not at least until the crucifixion initiation is your right.[ a hint of impending 4^th initiation ]

The second Saturn return is opening a new cycle of experience and spiritual opportunity and testing [ the transiting Saturn square the natal Mars, the esoteric ruler of Scorpio ]

The task today proffered you, and its incidental strain and suffering, will be of another kind and the pain endured will be largely mental, but “ you can take it, “ as the saying is. [ we notice a strong emphasis on Mercury by progressions/transits; ]

In August 1946 the progressed Mercury sesqui-quadrate the natal Jupiter and in October 1946 the Solar Arc Jupiter semi-square the natal Mercury. These contacts are significant as Mercury is the Personality Ray planet and Jupiter the Soul Ray planet and when these two come together by progression there is an opportunity of an important spiritual forging ahead.

In April 1947 the Solar Arc Mercury quincunx the natal Uranus and the transiting Uranus square the natal Mercury and in June 1947 the progressed MC semi-square the natal Mercury.

In October 1948 the transiting Uranus entered Cancer ( transmitting the 3^rd and 7^th Rays ).

The transiting Neptune is in Libra, where Uranus is the esoteric ruler and Neptune is the esoteric ruler of Cancer so there is a mutual esoteric reception between Uranus and Neptune.

The transiting Uranus semi-sextile the natal and progressed Neptune and the transiting Neptune conjunct the natal and progressed Uranus.

The Solar Arc Uranus sextile the natal Uranus and the Solar Arc Neptune sextile the natal Neptune.

The transiting Uranus conjunct the natal Cancer AS and the progressed AS sextile the natal Uranus.

The hard work of right organisation of timing/activity is reflected in the natal Mars ( Activity/3^rd Ray ) square Saturn ( discipline/hindrance – 3^rd/7^th Rays ).

In May 1948 the Solar Arc Saturn semi-sextile the natal Mars and the transiting Uranus trine the natal Mars and semi-sextile the natal Saturn and opposition the Solar Arc Mars.
