Visualization for Rule VII for Applicants

“Let the disciple turn his attention to the enunciating of those sounds which echo in the halls where walks the Master. Let him not sound those lesser notes which awaken vibration within the halls of Maya.

  1. Align with the soul.

  2. Visualize and reaffirm the individual antahkarana.

  3. Align with the group soul and realize your identity with it. Emphasize particularly the colors belonging to your soul and personality ray, otherwise indigo blue.

  4. Visualize and reaffirm the group antahkarana glowing with all seven colors of the rainbow. Emphasize the color indigo blue of the great synthetic second ray.

  5. Utilizing the group antahkarana, imagine the group open and accessible to the levels of the spiritual triad, and increasingly infused by the energies of those dimensions.

  6. See the group soul approaching identification with the Spiritual Hierarchy of our planet, and with the Christ at the Heart of Hierarchy.

  7. Focussed as the disciple within the group soul and under imagined triadal impression, contemplate the nature of sound according to your best understanding.

  8. What are the “halls” where walks the Master? Why are such locations called “halls”?

  9. Imagine the nature of the kinds of sounds which can and do “echo in the halls where walks the Master”. Why is it possible for such sounds thus to echo?

  10. What, do you suppose, is the nature of the sounds that the Master enunciates?

  11. Think of the sounds that you, as a disciple, enunciate: which of such sounds, do you suppose, actually echo in the halls where walks the Master?

  12. What type of sounds should you enunciate if they are to echo in those halls?

  13. Imagine yourself (and ‘hear’ yourself) enunciating such sounds and ‘see’ and ‘hear’ them echoing in those halls. Imagine the effect of this enunciation.

  14. Review for yourself: what is “Maya”? What are the “halls of Maya”?

  15. How do the “halls of Maya” differ from the “halls where walks the Master”?

  16. Consider—why is the term “sounds” used in relation to the higher “halls” and the term “vibration” used in relation to the lower?

  17. Consider—what is the nature of the “lesser notes” which “awaken vibration within the halls of Maya”?

  18. Visualize the results that occur when such vibration is awakened by the sounding of the “lesser notes”. Why are these results undesirable?

  19. Review the general nature of the “sounds” and “notes” you utter through thought and word.

  20. What sorts of sounds uttered by you awaken vibration within the “halls of Maya”? Be as specific as possible. Imaginatively witness the undesirable results of this awakening in your life and environment.

  21. Imagine yourself refraining from such lower soundings and substituting, instead, the enunciating of those greater sounds which echo in the “halls where walks the Master” and, thus, may reach the Master.

  22. Make note of any realizations that have come to you in the course of this meditation/visualization.

  23. Breathe forth the essence of your realizations to uplift the field of human consciousness.

  24. Sound the Great Invocation
